I just ordered replacement earpads for my SENN 580,i have never replaced pads before are there any tips i should know,how do install?

Pull off the old ones and then insert the new ones in place.  Press down firmly, make sure that the new earpads insert fully.  You will hear a "click" as they insert properly.  Keep pressing along the length of the pads until you do not hear any more clicks.  Earpads that are not properly inserted will dull the sound.
