Here is a good preamp http://www.head-fi.org/t/507245/review-red-wine-audio-isabella-lfp-v-edition that would fit perfectly into my system

I have finally decided (based on advice) to not go for a preamp but to go for monoblocks.
I could buy second hand Red Wine Audio Signature 70.2 monoblocks in Europe with 50% discount.

And I can use my current Signature 30(.2) as preamp for the monoblocks. And later on I could try to get speakers the can be bi-amped.

I found out that it won't be a good idea to use my Signature 30.2 as passive preamp for monoblocks and they could overkill my ACI Emerald speakers.

Well I am still new to speaker amps and preamps so I was looking for advice. So I saw there is a thread about the Signature speaker amp and tried to get it here. Some members on audiocircle gave me the advice I was looking for. It is a good idea to know something about headphones and speakers as well (this is mainly a headphone forum but It won't hurt to seek advise here as well).

Bump ... almost 1000 + Head-Fi'er :)

It was more about the constant replying to yourself, reminded me of Golem! There is an edit button, or were you trying to bump this thread? Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with it whatsoever.

well I am still using my RWA Signature 30.2 ( the model without volume control) that I bought in 2007, it drives my K-1000 ear phones beautifully

I upgraded my DAP last year to a Lotto PAW 6000 ( using an inexpensive Van Damme Silver Plated OFC Lead 3.5mm Stereo Mini Jack to 2 x RCA Aux Cables)

gotta say, things have improved more than a notch or two - the SQ is pretty damm good, the immersion factor is something not many people discuss, where you simply get lost in the music and you are foot tapping away without even knowing you are doing it !

have been incredibly lucky to have owned the K-1000's for about 20 years, and until I got the 30.2 amp from Vinnie, it was not getting the power it really needed to shine.

big thanks to Vinnie for manufacturing such a great product that is still being used daily by me and still makes me smile - hats off to you Sir !
