I recently bought a pair au audeze lcd2 and a pair au sennheiser hd 800s.

How could the audeze lcd-4 sound better than those 2 headsets ?

I'd like to know if it's worth it, selling both of them for one pair of lcd-4

Hey,

So ive heard all the headphones you listed. I prefer the LCD4 over both of them. LCD2 is okay, 800S is good but too source picky. LCD4 is a great headphone and a lot of people end game. I liked Focal Elex more than 800S so i sold it off. LCD4 will be a better overall headphone than the 800S, and is a clear upgrade from its little brother, the LCD2.

I have the LCD-2C, LCD-3F, and 800s, meaning 800, not 800S. Not sure what you meant but I assume the small 's' means pair of 800s.

The 800s are not a headphone for every kind of music. The Audezes are much more musical and the 800s are analytical. It's good not to have only one kind of headphone. I haven't heard the LCD-4 but if you are thinking of having only one set of headphones then the LCD-4 is almost certainly a better all-rounder than the 800/800S.

I own the HD800S 2019 edition.
The music sounds really good but the impact of the music feels so light. There's no body into it.
If i use my Lcd2 fazor. I won't use my hd800S for days. But when i do, it sounds better than audeze lcd2 ( flat eq ), but no sub bass. That's why I can't keep it. I'd like to have a great set of cans, with a lot of details and enjoyable sub bass. I opted for LCD4.

What i listen to in order of preference :
Metalcore
Deathcore
Dubstep
EDM
Hip-hop

Again I don't have the LCD-4 but the LCD-3F would be killer for all the music you mentioned. I am not surprised the 800S is not doing it for you.

Try listening to some good classical, maybe cello or violins, and hardcore jazz (Kind of Blue would be a good choice) and the 800S are gonna sing.
