Hello everyone, I am recently looking for a USB DAC+amp to connect to my laptop. (I have a Fiio x3 which I use as a portable DAP and a USB DAC at the moment.) I am now using ie80 as my earphone but I am planning to buy the HD600 this year. Therefore, it would be nice if it can drive a HD600 nicely. I would prefer the size to be smaller (no need to be portable). However, this is not an important factor. I think sound quality is more important than size. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for your recommendation. Does it support line out to an external amp (I might need more power for my HD600)? I can only find a headphone out...

Yes it does, I'm using the Audioengine D1 with Schiit Asgard 2 right now.

Definitely small. Currently on sale this month for $195 shipped. Then you could pair an ODAC with it later (try your X3 at first) and you'd have a very small footprint.

ifi idsd is a good bet... supports AISO and all files up to DSD256   for a player I'd suggest Jriver media center 19...
