Hi, I'm in the market for some headphones..hope I've come to the right place .
My needs..
1. Want to use mostly at home with my yamaha motif es keyboard.
2. Will take with me to gigs to practice and warm up before a gig.
3. May use them live if I can't hear myself.
I don't want a massive set of headphones... I have beyerdynamic dt100's but they don't go loud enough straight from the keyboard(something to do with ohms) plus th are massive on my head and will look a bit silly on stage.
I want some that are natural sounding, and so I can mix/edit sounds and layers to get a good sound and then it sound the same when I put it through a pa... I so don't want any that will boost or anything.
A possible list of headphones I've seen...
Sony mdr-7506
Sony mdr-7510
Sony mdr-1r
Krk kns 6400 and 6800
Westone um1 color iem
Buget is £80-£150.
Please help me decide so I can sell my dt100's and buy something more appropriate.
Thanks, Rik
