Hi,

I've moved into a new office and need an audio set up.

I'm looking for a some closed back headphones below $500 that are dark/veiled/warm.
I understand this maybe against what most people want :)

I'm very sensitive to treble peaks. Especially around the 5k mark.

I'm ok with sacrificing detail and air for more warmth and intimate. I hate bright sounding headphones.

As reference the HD650 is still way to bright to me.

Would an oppo pm-3 be a good choice? (if i can find one)

I already have a dac and amp.

Thanks!

How about a 20 band EQ, and stick w/ the can you have.

I personally would recommend the v moda crossfade wireless 2 codex, they're built like tanks, don't leak sound and still are one the best looking cans out there.

Also the sound quality from wired compared to Bluetooth is incredible, I'm pretty sure they sound better in Bluetooth mode than wired. These bad boys are immense ☺️.

They can be bass heavy, but if you're using a DAC just adjust the eq.
