Have a set of UE700s that i absolutely love. the wire is starting to pull apart and Logitech wouldn't replace them with anything other than the UE600, which I didn't believe was a good substitute. Their other offer was to give me back my purchase price, but since I got these at a wicked price, I can't replace them for what Logitech was offering.
So my question is this, is it possible to have these recabled in Canada (or the US) for a nominal price (don't need anything fancy) or am I just better off replacing them? I love the size, since i use them primarily with my motorcycle helmet, and with the comply foam tips, they are super comfortable. i've been recommended the Shure SE215 which are pretty reasonably priced, but I'm concerned with how they will sound being a single armature coming from a dual armature setup in the UE700s.
Thanks
