I did a whole bunch of searching on this but couldn't find an answer, sooooo....
 
One side of my Re0s failed today.  I think I've had them for around a year (purchased through DBROTH @amazon).  Is it worth trying to have them recabled, or sending them back somewhere?  Or should I just go ahead and purchase a new set?
 
Definitely don't think I'd buy another pair of these after they failed after 15 months or so (looks like a lot of people have had similar experiences...)

It's probably the cable, if you feel comfortable replacing the cable, you can screw the housing apart with pliers, and solder in new wires..

Search under RE0 recable which will show a some repair threads.

Thanks!  Only issue is that I'm a college student with minimal tools available - I may have to find someone who can do this for me.
