Hi everyone😊
Was contemplating utilizing my external Realistic graphic equalizer with both my Fosi X2 phono preamp and a CD player going into it.
Only one input and output to the EQ unfortunately .
Will this work?
Amazon.com

Any chance of sound or signal degradation to either the phono preamp or CDP using the above cable splitter ? And why?
Or just use something such as Schitt SYS for this?
Thanks for any support.

The consensus seems to be that adding switches or T couplers is not a great idea, at least on paper. Whether it matters in your setup, with your ears, is gonna be up to you. That said, cheap equalizers are more lossy and will degrade sound quality a lot more than switches or couplers so maybe based on what you asked there is nothing to worry about.

The Nobsound Little Bear combo RCA and XLR switchbox was recommended to me by the owner/engineer of a very well-regarded amp company.
