Rate The Last Movie You Watched

Hell, when I take a date to a movie, actually watching the movie is pretty low on the list of priorities!

Under 25 or still lusty about your current date?
Would you go to a blockbuster on opening weekend to play,ha ha ?!
Old movie and corner seats for that game.
Here are your seats picked for tomorrow's showtime:

It's stadium sloped seating so people can look in on you good.
F1 & F2 seats hang over the lobby entrance,so no one in front of you to turn around, another option.
Tough to pull it off if the theater has D-Box seats that move and rumble as the show plays on.
The lower block of seats and sides are empty for good reason - trumpet blast sound.
Miss the old less crowded smoking sections at the back and the upper balconies.

For $60-$70 I'd bring the girl,DVD and a bottle to Motel 6,leave the curtains open if you're a porn star...

The Amazing Spiderman 7.8/10

Acting in the beginning was a little too corny for my taste, but it picked up and turned into a pretty good story. I'd say I enjoyed this one much more than the previous versions.

Neverwas, 9/10

Incredible performances from a stellar cast in a very well-written fantasy/drama.

X2 Never heard of that movie. Saw it on netflix and yes it was really nice

Same here, it was in my online queue for some reason and I chose it over other much more pedestrian fare, glad I did!

007 Skyfall - 9/10 Loved it, very bond like and really cemented Danial Craig as the best bond i my eyes.

Wreck it Ralph: 10/10 if you're an older gamer or started with the classics you will appreciate this movie and its message...and the references. A great kid movie as well as an older gamer movie; my two friends and I were among a bunch of 20-30 year olds watching it and all enjoying it. The humor is slightly adult and childish but good god was it magnificent. Oh also it turns into the darkest kids movie near the end, like toy story 3 dark.

Skyfail - 4.5/10

I know that 99% of everyone already loves this so I don't want them to hate me. I'll put my useless comments in the spoiler area.

This started out well and was pretty fun to watch, but then after the first action sequence it was an hour of nothing of interest really. All these scenes were as dull as possible and then they extended them as long as they could. The casino scene was a total waste of time. Basically half the movie was just filler material with nice travel channel scenery. At least I got to see Shanghai and Macau!

How also do you have a chase scene in a subway and underground tunnel be so sleep inducing? Lots of phony suspense and computer hacking nonsense. You'd think a subway crashing into a tunnel would be exciting or something. I'm not sure that Sam Mendes knows how to actually make action sequences.

The entire movie was not original in any way. If so, give me an example. They borrowed every single idea from other  movies and even games. Watch Die Hard 4, Army of Shadows, Eagle Eye, Mission Impossible 4, the Bourne movies, Home Alone(kidding). Apparently James Bond now is a super hero just like Rambo! I think the script writer must be a fan of Bioshock 2 and Uncharted 2. It's awesome that bond now uses gas canisters as weapons against helicopters. Creative! Shooting fire extinguishers was totally original too. I'm also glad they read poetry during one of the action sequences. That alone made it worthy of an oscar!

Ok, the cinematography was nice, but there was no substance at all here. I don't even require non-stop action at all. Actually i'd prefer it to NOT be just all action scenes. The only decent character in the movie was Bardem. Only thing good about him was the acting. I can't believe that is all they could come up with for a villian.

Everything that you'd expect in a bond movie is basically gone. No, that's not why I hated it and i'm ok with that.

So..i'm sure everyone will like this one, but I didn't.

BTW I think the next James Bond movie will be directed by Ken Burns!

What's amusing is that even the movie "Get Smart" had more thought put into the script. Skyfall was just recycled from other films. The next bond should be Mr. Bean!

Nobody's going to hate you, brother! I have yet to come across a film that EVERYONE liked, without exception....so there's bound to be a few of you guys who didn't enjoy it. I appreciate your honestly. Had you seen Casino Royale and/or QoS?

I'll admit I'm not a fan of the James Bond movies. I've seen both of those. I still have Casino Royale on HD-DVD(!) and need to watch it again.
I kind of like QoS, but everyone says that's one of the worst bond films. Based on memory, maybe i'd give it a 7.5/10. I still clearly remember watching "Transporter 3" the same day I saw that, so maybe it made QoS seem even better!

I actually have a boxed set of James Bond movies. I really need to try and watch every single one. Tonight I did some Google research to see what the best James Bond movie is. Roger Moore and many others say it's Skyfall...doh. I took a mental note of some to try and locate them.

If you're looking for one that is just kind of fun to watch, check out Moonraker. It has a sci-fi element to it and a classic Bond villain - Jaws. I often recommend it to those who aren't really big fans of the franchise, but are interested in watching some of the older ones. Skyfall sure is garnering a ton of critical priase, that's for sure...if it's not the highest scoring bond on RT, I don't know what is...it's not often you see a score of 93 on RT for any movie, let alone Bond flicks.

Are you a fan of the Bourne movies?

Honestly might go see Wreck It Ralph today. Really excited for that one.

I'M GONNA WRECK IT.

If I can ever escape listening to Sledgehammer over and over. God I missed Peter Gabriel in my life.

Yes,right to the point with those quotes.
At your 45% rating,it didn't fail miserably but certainly didn't pass muster.
Usually, your hero is only as good as your villain.
If I had not seen it in UltraAVX,I might have dropped it a full percent or more.

Focker is up to bat next,we'll see if he cries foul on this one.
That is,if he isn't too busy making out with his date in a far off corner of the theater, heh !

IP Man,I vote for One over Two.
Great martial arts (subtitles though...) violent action, lots of kicks.

LOL! And no, I'm not under 25....I'm 40....I just try to keep the swag alive!
