Harry potter 7 p1... it was pretty boring as most of the action in the book happens in the 2nd half, but I never expect too much from the film versions.

Well Tron Legacy is decidedly average, according to the consensus "professional" reviews as well. I guess it's back to Marvel superhero movies for Disney, that's where they are raking it in. They spent a lot of time and money on Tron, over $200 million I think. What a waste, $200M would have bought a lot of killer headphones lol.

I've been listening for several weeks now, and it is absolutely awesome. I probably won't see the movie, but I'll watch it when it comes out on dvd.

Planet Hulk 8/10. Great animation and story line.  Still waiting for an all out combat with all the Marvel characters against The Beyonder, just like Secret Wars for those who remember and fancy the comic series.

I love Pixars, certainly during the holidays season, Ratatouille's one of my favourites.

Only read one review where Tron Legacy get more then 1/5... to bad because I enjoyed the original. However it was also not getting that good reception?. Computers just never seem to get hip.
 
Disneyfication I am sceptical too though. Anybody that liked the original and find the Legacy stacking up?

Err where to start... visually quite good, but awfully muddled in places, and creepy plastic CLU didnt help.The lightcycles scene is a bit of a mess really.. too disjointed and lacking any points of reference.. hard to know whats going on. The 3D is used sparingly, and quite subtly, a big difference to the previews before the movie.. 
 
Soundtrack was great (I've been listening to it since it came out last week, and it's very atmospheric), and the sound design in general was quite impressive, I saw it at an XD theatre and they have avery good  JBL 7.1 system in there. (Im told its uncompressed PCM soundtracks in there)
 
The plot.. umm well it could have been worse.. but not much.
 
 
Overall, I'd give it a 5 / 10 which is a bit disappointing really.. I'd been looking forward to this for some time.
