Boku no kanoko wa saibogu (Cyborg Girl) 9/10

Probably the best movie I've seen in a long time. A wonderful sci-fi laced love story. The ending was a bit too ideal, but it still worked very well.

Step Brothers- 7/10. Will, John and all did a very good job here. typical Ferrell and Reilly, not exactly the Royal Shakespeare Company, but very funny in their own way. Funny from start to finish, some great lines, and a shock, i thought it was going to be aimed much more at the family/general viewing market, but i'm glad i didn't let my kids see it, very bass but very well done and extremely humourous- the "i'm now trying a yoga move" line is classic.

Some really good actions scenes, but couldn't help like they ripped off the bourne trilogy's style.
Overall didn't like it at all.

Better than expected, especially since I've become rather jaded to superhero movies; big flashy explosions don't impress me. Main character was great, though everything else was less than average. Predictable storyline, predictable villain, but somehow I still came out liking the "hero."

Wall-E 7.5/10 [Absolutely loved the CG work on this one, simply breathtaking. But it is a children's movie so story was nothing great lol]

Tropic Thunder 7/10 [some really funny parts, some not so much, usual Ben Stiller flick]

A skipper.... I enjoyed it as far as truedolbyHD technology in sounds..and 1080P resolution....that's about it.

Very sad, but also very good. Drags a bit and story can get a bit confusing since its being told from two people's different points of view, but overall a good movie about the end of the samurai and shogun period in Japan.
