Drillbit Taylor: 5/10. Pretty much the definition of an average comedy in my mind. It has its funny moments, but it never stands out. A lot of cameo appearances. Not Owen Wilson's best.

Heat (1995)

This movie had some sick scenes and acting, but it could have been reduced down as it tended to drag. 8.5/10

Howls Moving Castle

I adored this movie, I like Miyazaki more every time I watch his movies. 9/10

LA Confidential

Good acting and good conclusion, but it just wasn't really for me.

8/10

The Forbidden Kingdom- 8/10. Great Kung-Fu action from Jackie and Jet, storyline which kept kids and myself interested from start to finish. And to top it off, the chick with the white hair and Golden Sparrow are hot.

The Princess Bride-10/10. This film is the business, if you've seen it you will know what i mean, if you haven't- inconceivable, possible one of the best family films ever made.

Hulk - 8/10

Definitely a good "make up" movie from previous mistake. I like that fact that they put in a few humorous scenes in to light up the movie.

Old School: 8/10. Very funny iconic frat pack comedy. It has many comedy stars who all have fitting parts. If you like comedies, you should definitely watch this.

Iron Man 8/10. Good movie, but just not enough action. Compared to Transformers, which was similar in style it was mediocre at best. Still entertaining though.

Definitely, Maybe: 8.5/10 an excellent romantic comedy. One of the best date movies I have seen for quite some time. The girls loved it and shed a few tears and I wasn't stuck with a "Notebook/Titanic" kind of movie.

BTW, there is a headphone scene right at the beginning. Ryan Reynolds uses some wireless IEM and the other guy some huge (consumer, panasonic/sony...) DJ headphones. Anyone know what they are? The wireless ones look very discreet and professional.

Nim's Island: 7/10. Above average family film. Who can not like Abigail Breslin, she's great. Jodi Foster is on the ball as the agoraphobic writer whose (kind of schizofrenic) alter ego in the books is an adventure hero. She goes to the rescue of Breslin. The film is never over the top; some of it is unbelievable, but it's still entertaining.
