Rambo IV: 6.5/10. Want a movie filled with mind-numbing ultra-graphic violence? Watch this. Jesus Christ, I didn't know this was possible. It looks extremely 'real'. Not for the feint of heart. Entertaining nonetheless.

"The Eye" Jessica Alba She is starting to mature more as an actress and did pretty ood on this one. The movie had a good concept but left me feeling like it could have been presented much better. 6 out of 10 from the viewer.

Shadow of a Doubt - Not one of Hitchcocks best, but certainly fine mystery/drama. Doubly entertaining if interested in Joseph Cotten or Santa Rosa, CA.

Two-Lane Blacktop - Finally got to this much celebrated 70s piece. So much more interesting than Vanishing Point and maybe even Easy Rider.

Transamerica - On the other side of the road movie genre. Why don't more American films take at least baby chances like this? A joy.

I do and did. On my prestigious gore and violence scale, Rambo scored a healthy 9/10. Go for the blood. Stay for the violence!

Cloverfield (5/10) was a serviceable, efficient thriller in my book. I caught my neck craning several times from the camera work. It achieves a more respectable 7/10 upon the gore and violence scale. There were some nice moments.

Enchanted - 8/10

Amy Adams is over-the-top sweet and cute, but in a good way. This one was the only romantic comedy in the past few years that I have enjoyed from beginning to end.

I thought Blood Diamond was an awesome movie, about 7/10 for me.

Amy Adams was hot in Enchanted, other than that it was an average movie at best.

Recent movies:

There Will Be Blood this movie is weiirrrd. I thought this movie would be about battlling for oil, and action, but it is more of a character study and homage to Daniel Day Lewis. Good acting, good characters, but very lackluster pacing, story, and music. I would say 7.5/10

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
I recently watched this for the first time. Very slow at first, but it picked up. Tuco is very funny

. I would say 8/10 for a good time.

Carlito's Way
Al Pacino is back as a gangsta! This was an awesome movie, even though there was not much action, it is more character driven. Sean Penn is awesome in this movie as the cokehead lawyer. I'd say 8.5/10
