MI:3 - 0/10.

After 20 minutes i was rooting for Philip Seymore Hoffman since he was somehow less creepy than Tom Cruise. Another 10 and i gave up on the movie entirely.

Michael Clayton - A very nice film. Great acting for both 1st and 2nd roles, really enjoyed it.

The Brothers Solomon - 3/5

This is a textbook average movie. It contains too many instances of comedic brilliance to be bad, but the overall film isn't good enough to qualify as a "good movie".

People expecting hilarity on the level of 'Kung Pow: Enter The Fist' will be disappointed. That was a Steve Odekerk movie. This is a Bob Odenkirk movie.

Eastern Promises, 7/10. The ending was a bit anticlimatic, I would have liked to walk a bit farther down that yellow brick road with Viggo Mortensen's character. Maybe I'll get another tattoo instead....

Spy Kids 2. 7/10
What can I say? I watched it right after the second half of Spy Kids and it was a good treadmill movie. Kept me entertained and running for an hour and a half.
Good plot, well acted (Machete!) and a fun film. Not sure how Spy Kids 3: Game Over is going to be, due to the law of dimishing returns with sequels, I may go with Commando instead... unless the weather improves and I get to run outside.

MirrorMask 8.5 – To anyone who enjoyed The Fountain, this is better by leagues.

Sunshine 6.9 – Visually pretty darn stunning, but I was un-awed by the Freddy Kruger antagonist, who catches the holy spirit--- after such a fantastic lead-up, that's what you give me? Given Millions and Trainspotting , I think it was fair to expect more, but after 28 Days Latter maybe I should have expected less. It does pay symbolic homage to 2001, and for that I forgive the film for stealing from it.

Cloverfield

Sound = 9.5 / 10 (almost perfect)
Plot = 5/10 (damnit, we want more!)
Camera shot = 8/10 (great handycam shots, intense)
Overall = 7.5 / 10

I wish... I wish... I wish they had a sequel or prequel to this movie.
Arghhh!

Initial D, laughably bad in places, but great fun! I used to own a 4AGE AE82 hatch, so I've got a soft spot for his Trueno ...

Oh, a rating, 4/10 for cinematic excellence, 9/10 for enjoyment.
