Drool...I wanna try out those Singlepower tube amps...might be something to invest in for the future...once I find a new source of income.

I guess since Saturnine is bringing his comp then I don't have to bring mine over. I can just burn a dvd or 2 with all my reference songs on em (encoded in FLAC) and bring that instead.

Sounds cool to me. I'm running Foobar with KS and a Plextor 712SA if anyone cares. The EMU will be modded by MisterX before the next meet.

I can bring my HD580 with Mg Head and my Sony CE595 and Onix XCD-88 cd players plus my Cal Sigma II DAC.
I can't wait to hear the HD650 with Blue Dragon V2 and Singlepower amps....I wonder if its possible to drool oneself to death??

Can I get a head count? If it looks like allot of people are coming. I might have a big conference room that might suit the meeting better than my house. Also what time is best for everyone? I am free all day so I am indifferent.

I will not be in attendance

due to the aforementioned graduation of my younger daughter.

But it sounds like there will be some great opportunities to audition equipment that I have been reading about on head-fi.

Puleeeze take pity on those of us who cannot be there: Take photos and copious notes. Then post your pictures and your listening impressions. Let the rest of us enjoy the meet vicariously through your posted impressions.

Update: The DVD-RW in my system just died while doing some benchmarks. It may or may not be back from the RMA in time for the meet, and all I have now is a CD-RW. Bring CDs if you want to hear the EMU.

It's about 2.5 hours to Raleigh, so I can be there as early as needed but I absolutely refuse to get up before 4am LOL! Just need time and directions.

Single Power sent a PPX and I have a Dynahi. Both of these 2 amps will Use an Onkyo DV-SP1000 as it's source. I then have a Sony DVP7700 which also has dual outputs. So 2 of anyone's amps can be run by this. I also have a Sony CD Changer. So if you dont want to bring a player I should have you covered.
I'll have some chips and drinks. But if you want to bring something feel free. I have to kick everyone out at the latest 5pm. My house is being listed today ForSale. So it will be open for showing before and after our meeting.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
