Impressive build for $300 on sale, or even less. I just love this dap!
Many users reported electronic interference with R6 pro. Check the head fi thread. Don’t know if later production remedied this.
Pitch black background on all my (not especially sensitive) iems and headphones. Others with more demanding gear (in terms of noisefloor) have said similar things on several occasions here on Head-Fi. YMMV of course. Thanks, I've read about it. Does the R5 have hiss issues? Or is it silent?
Thanks! The R5 has no track limit.
I am wondering between the r5, r6 pro and an sr25, from what I've read, the r6 pro has a bigger screen, wifi issues, lesser battery life compared to the other two. Some users have mentioned electronic interference as well. The r5 has better batter life than the r6 pro since it has a smaller screen, I haven't seen any wifi issues mentioned anywhere. The only con I can find is the other two players have better sound quality. The ak has WiFi issues, weaker cpu compared to the hiby players, but the battery life is AWESOME (~19 hrs SE local flac files)Hi! I've just seen a good offer for the Hiby R5 and I think I will purchase it. My doubt is between this and the R6 Pro.
Previously I have had R3 Pro (sold because I want to use Tidal offline) and iBasso DX160 (sold because its connectivity was not stable). At the moment my daily dap is a japanese version of Sony A105 (the uncapped one) that probably I will sell if the R5/R6Pro will be good enough.
Do you guys have suggestions?
Thanks!!
