This is just to see where everyone's at, like a headcount. Keep the posts short since there's already discussion on the two.

You serious? Don't they use the exact same frame or do you just mean you don't like them?

Haha, thanks. I lost that thread and searched for like half an hour...never saw it again.
To make it clear, I just want to see what everyone has (considering a great deal of people say they prefer the MS1's)...just as a headcount.

I just ordered the SR60's. I was going to buy SR80's because it was more appropriate for my hip-hop music but I just couldn't find the extra $25 for "foam and wire".

Hope I made the right choice as my first audiophile cans!

the SR60 comes with comfies pad which imo is not that good. bowls are definitely better for the lower end grados. but you can buy the bowls new at around $10

Although it seems to be too late: MS1 - good with the original bowls, even better with quarter-modded Sennheiser-pads. More comfortable.

I prefer the MS1 with quarter modded HD414 pads. Sometimes, the more aggressive sound of SR80 doesn't work as well for the more 'laid-back' stuffs. I'd be perfectly happy to have either though.
