Hey I've seen these short (maybe 6 inch) cables that run from amps and you plug headphones into.

Is it an attenuator or something or just a 1/4 to mini adapter?

That looks to be a 1/4" to XLR...

Its a 1/4 to 1/8 adaptor cable.
To allow those MDR-SA5000 to hook up to the RSA Hornet.
