What's the difference btw using E9 alone and E9+E17? 
 
I want to get a E17, but since some of the Fiios has new model, when will E17 have a new model? I don't want it come out right after I get it.

An E9 can provides higher power output than E17, it depend on what headphone you have. We have not plan to upgrade E17 in 2012 or 2013.
