Hey guys, I searched the forums and didn't seem to be able to find a definitive answer to this question. I'm using the E17 + E09k with USB out from my PC to power my DT-990s. I don't really intend to use the E17 as a portable amp very often. What is the best thing to do for the health of the battery on the E17 with regards to USB charging? There's an option to disable USB charging in the E17 menu. The E09k powers the DAC on and off alongside itself so currently I have USB charging set to off. Is it more harmful to completely discharge the battery or start a charging cycle everytime I turn on the amp?
