Hello,

*If this thread does not belong here, please help me redirect it to the proper location*

I know that the LG engineers "debunked" the quad dac theory but I do hear a difference in quality when triggering the higher impedance mode, checked it with an equal amount of volume and the treble was much smoother with the high impedance mode triggered.

Anyway, I know that 2 of the tricks to trigger it is either an "external" cord or plugging the jack while keeping the IEM's disconnected from the cable and then hooking it up, my question is will the MEE Audio Universal Balanced Cable will do the trick with its adapters?
Anyone can confirm that using an adapter with no external wiring is working as much as a 10cm extension cord?

A picture so you could see my dilema:
