Hi. I'm new to using an amp with a DAP and I'm wondering if you adjust the volume on the amp or the DAP when you're listening to music. For example would I leave the volume on an iPod at a certain level and then adjust with the amp? Thanks!

If you are using an ipod you really should be using a line out dock, but if you are unable to get a line out you should have volume on DAP at full (unless distortion occurs) and control volume with amp.

I've tested numerous daps on the woo6, full volume and controlling from amp sounds best. Test pausing the music to see if you hear any sound/buzz, if so, lower the volume on the dap. And as Gautama said, if you have line out use it.

Set volume to max and when clipping occurs (which I doubt, it's iRiver

), lower it till the clipping disappears completely.
