Hello, I normally always use crossfeed with my headroom amp bu tno brightness setting. Yesterday i got the ultrasone pro900 and found it to be the first headphone that did not improve with the crossfeed switch, it only made the bass boomy. It did however, to my surprise improve a reat deal by using the brightness filter, it brought the midrange up where i want it to be. I now wonder what excactly this filter does since i want to replicate its effect on my laptop rig (foobar)and portable player(rockbox). I use it in the down position. I guess it adds some +db to a certain hz range and it really help swith the pro900 imho while with other headphones you barely hear a difference.
I also would like to kn ow how much db the high gain settin g is? I use the pro900 on high gain but at volume step 1 (i have the stepped attenuator).
I have all the windows/foobar volumes maxed.
