After playing with the EQ a bit for fun I noticed the EQ sounds very natural when used in moderation, at least on some older 60s recordings that were not as heavy in bass.
I do notice some hum when using my turntable during silent or very quiet passages now though. I know it's from my pre-amp. The LP-120 doesn't have a ground wire and sometimes it hums, sometimes it doesn't. So, this is certainly no fault of the headphone amplifier. It's a wonderful little thing!
