I was just wondering how that suspension band works? I've never seen one in person. I understand it's mostly leather? Is there a stretchy material by where it attaches? How does it attach to the headband?

It looks like elastic from what I can see, but you might want to ask @bpandbass. He recently posted his experience with the MDR-R10 here, whereas I haven't had my hands on the MDR-R10.

Hi, I made some photos how headband on R10 actually works. First and second photo si headband in normal position, on third photo is stretched by my finger. Material is leather.
