I'm attracted to several things about DJ headphones such as the looks, durability, portability, noise-blocking etc...
Do DJ headphones sound good?
What are the best DJ headphones for less that $400? Is Pioneer good?
Do I need good amps for them? I am thinking about getting a cheap USB amp and sell my 160D so which one do you guys recommend?
Thanks in advance!

pioneer is arguably the best brand for dj phones. the hdj2000 is very sweet- i have one- has very nice sound across the spectrum, however, its not as bassy as most dj cans, but has better clarity than any others i have heard.

I am very interested in getting one! Is it made of metal? How durable is it?
What other headphones do u recommend for about $400?
