I just got an used iBasso D2+ BOA amp and I am wondering if this annoyance i observed on mine is normal for this model amp.
 
What I am observing is that everytime I turn off the amp I get this loud "noise" that sounds like at time like the "ray gun" sound in the older movies -  a high to low buzz (or was it low to high?..... can't remember).
 
I can understand the pop when I first turn on the unit but this noise when I turn off the amp is a bit disconcerting for a $150 plus amp.
 
Can anyone that has or had one of these amps confirm whether you encountered this issue of not on your amp.

Are you using the standard op-amp config or your own?  TLE2141 in buffer on my P4 will cause that ray-gun sound.

Hmmm....I have no idea what the answer to your question is, I'm pretty new to this.
 
I think this unit is in the standard configuration from iBasso.

It doesn't sound like you have an issue, but if you bought it from iBasso directly or have a warranty card, perhaps you can try returning it and ask to trade for something else.

I just bought this one from a Headfi'er here so there is no warranty.
 
I will try my luck with the D2+ threads if I don't get one here.
