I'm relatively new to the headphone game - just got a Mojo and Dan Clark Aeon 2 open. Samsung note 9 with Tidal/Flac is the source.

Is there any reason NOT to use a long - 1 meter? - micro to USB-C cord? I eliminate the short connector cord and have the length I want.

Also, any recommendations for that longer cord? I'd prefer silver and under ~$150, although I know that's not a promising combination. I'm surprised that there are very few USB micro to C cords.

Thanks!

Generally if the USB cable is under 1.5m than you are completely fine. If it is too long (> 3m), than you might need an USB booster, depends on whether there is enough power makes it to the other end.

It is a digital cable, so whether it is silver or not is not really important, at least not nearly as important as whether it is properly built / shielded, up-to-spec or not - and the longer the cable, the more important the build quality will matter.
