I was trying to match impedence but i wasnt sure if those are the only numbers that matter? I am completly new to the audio market and was hopeing for some incite. If these will or will not work what parmeters did you look at first? I suppose if possible i would like an answer that will allow me to solve my own question in the future.

Are you going to use these for gaming or music?  The amp I'm not sure about, but I have never personally been a fan of closed Sennheisers.  They seem to be prone to the "honky" sound closed cans get a bad rap from. Tell us more on how and for what you plan to use this rig, then we can better help you.

Thank you for your reply. I intend to use them for in order of priority; gaming, voice and music. Is there another headset you would recommend? I currently have two sound cards.

With what your looking to do, you may have better results asking advice about gaming in the computer audio section on Head-Fi.  I wont be able to help you in this area because I dont have any experience in it.
