All good commenting. Can anyone confirm 7.1 does not work at all with Dolby Atmos Tidal tracks, listen to a few Atmos specified tracks and then let us know.

I'm thinking about purchasing a Goal Zero Sherpa 100AC to power the Q15 in desktop mode at will, too, if I try the hand to compare the units.

In my case, with iPhone13 connected via USB to T71 and Tidal app, the Atmos tracks are reproduced as 2.0.

With the same hardware setup and ROON app, DSD 5.1 tracks play as 2.0 (while on PC and ROON app, they play as multi-channel).

Always with the same hardware setup and Netflix or Disneyplus app, multi-channel soundtracks are played in multi-channel.

Thanks Ferdinando1968 and Bahamot, I wish that there was a Digital Handshake between the Qudelix-T71 and the apps, but that must be somehow hard to account For between the various apps Such as FROM Tidal(s end of things). I believe some circuitry would help accomplish that, it's cool that surround, it works for multichannel content that is 5.1 \ 7.1 content though from streaming services.

The Fiio KA17 looks slightly [cost] cheaper than it should be, and I wonder about the reality of the Cross-Straight future. In my opinion Politics may be a tough topic, especially on a forum such as right-here, but Taiwan really ought to not be Dealt with By China's outsized autocratic position. And Outlook.

I'm going to pick the T71 up to give it a try.

Looking forward to this, despite not knowing what to expect. Hopefully they at least came up with a name for them.

Working fine for me with the Netflix app for Windows. And I know it works great with PC games. I don't use Roon.

Yes, I should have mentioned, it doesn't work with just anything. But you can see if multichannel is supported:

And it doesn't work from the web browser, I just tried it. The same dumb Kevin Hart movie gave me multichannel with the T71 using the Netflix app, but it was just standard two channel from the browser.

The QX-Over? Is this the T71 companion IEM? Seems like it. link. Or is this something else?
