So my HD-600's need the elements replaced and yet another question has come up. Is the quality of the replacement elements the same as the original elements?

Looks fine to me. It is from the manufacturer, so it should be exactly the same thing.

then it just confirms HD-580 == HD-600 minus the grills and the housing.

also it proves that the housing and the grills makes a difference in how they sound!
