good day! what is the production date of the headphones? how long have they been in use already?
I don't know how one finds such info. Of course the ERA-1's were introduced only about 4 years ago. (Also, I definitely do not ship to Mordor. Selling in the US of A only.)

I think its mostly because of the qc issues with the first batch of era 1 that he is asking.

Also have fun with the aryas. Just tryed them again today and didnt like how they image.

Well, that may be, but since these work perfectly, and have done so for me all along, no issues with this particular pair.

The Aryas came to life for me after I got the EQ right (for my taste) and made a Frankenstein pair of sheepskin pads. I described that journey in a post in the Arya’s discussion thread. Now the sound is smooth and the imaging cohesive. Only after this came tigether, I decided to let the Quads go…

I thought the ERA-1 wouldn't survive my purchasing the LCD-4, but I've still got them. The Quads are like 400 grams lighter and will run off my DAP, so they are still a frequent listen too. Honestly, these have to be some of the most underappreciated headphones out there.

Nice cans. On me the stock config made them semi on ear not over ear. Wider pads would have worked.

For $350-375 used in nice shape it out performs the Sundara, and probably the XS too. The HE-6 SE or SE v2 offers a tougher compare, and outcome depends on taste.

There'll be a hobbit express starting once in a while you can hang on.

ERA-1’s not going anywhere here,
Chord Qutest/MScaler, Icon Audio HP8 + ERA-1 are so relaxing when listening to music,
Have Stax Lambda Pro/Srm for everything else ..
You guys driving me crazy with your HP8s. ^^

I know that Era-1 will sound great with some tube amps ( auditioned them 4 years ago on a Quad PA-One+ ) and for my Verite Open, a tube amp is highly recommended / mandatory.
But that Icon Audio HP8 was mentioned several times the last days, drivin me nuts.

M u s t . . . r e s i s t. ^^
