I can't believe it!
My Carver amp needs a little work,(shorted wire inside at the speaker outs), so I just stuck my Qinpu A3 in there to see what would happen.
Didn't actually expect "doodley-squat", as these speakers require a LOT to drive them.
Surprized to find that they are playing just FINE,(even the bass!), sound is really far better than mere adequacy, can actually get decent volume out of them before any real degradation of quality become apparent!
I guess this is just good news, for anybody who wants a more flexible option set for running an old classic set of High Impedance British speakers.
