Most cheap Chinese cable are .75mm 2pin, and you could just plug them in the opposite direction to get the right polarity with qdc. Still given how popular qdc is in asia, I would love to see more premium cable makers to offer qdc connectors as an option.

That’s the stock cable with the correct polarity.

Plus the pins that they use are quite small (guessing its 0.75?) i had a cable made and i had to jam them in the socket.

It's confirmed that QDC has reversed pin assignments. Posted this before so that others can use it as a guide.

Kind of overkill since VX is not particularly hard to drive. A bit more midbass punch, male vocal feels more powerful and give the VX a tube flavor. Overall not a noticeable improvement over WM1A, just a different flavor.

I don't have a measuring rig so I cant say for sure. But I have heard plenty of VX in china, they all sound exactly the same to me, and I have never heard anything bad about qdc's QC.

VX, it's literally an improvement over Gemini in everyway with similar sound signature.

I tried neptune and anole v3 last year, I like v3 a lot more than neptune. Didn't went and order it, now they released one that's between, qdc Mona Lisa. It's based on 2se, I wonder how it sound.

I'm really interested in the QDC lineup, Gemini and VX especially. However, the cable compatibility is really putting me off. I'm not entirely sure if I can use:

1. any common 0.78 mm 2-pin cable or
2. a 0.75 mm 2-pin cable so it fits or
3. a 0.75 mm 2-pin cable with the correct polarity.

This is so I don't end up force-fitting a 0.78 mm 2-pin onto the QDC and potentially permanently damage the IEM.
I appreciate any help and advice I can get on this topic. Thanks in advance!

You can use any .75mm 2pin even without the correct polarity, you can plug the 2pin in the other way.
