I've managed to fit the Effect Audio Leonidas. Difference is night and day. Substancial improvement on resolution, imaging, separation and soundstage.

My IEM for life. I'm done. Bye head-fi,.
Bye....

Before you go, pictures? How did you fit the Leo?

Still here.

I had to use some connectors the previous owner gave me. He said the Leo wouldn't work due to reverse polarity on the QDC, so that I would have to use these connectors. In fact, without them, the cable sounds terrible. They were hard to fit, but they're ok now and the sound is terrific.

Well, now I think it's a goodbye :D

Doesn't look pretty but it works.

Would this be needed with the Leonidas II?
Nic! I thought you just inserted the cable backwards. Now that you found the amazing match, you can ask EE to reterminate the cable for a pretty fit and look.

Yes, that's what I'm going to do before leaving head-fi :D
Lol...cool, so we still have a couple months with you around. Keep us updated on your findings. I honestly didn't like VX stock cable.

Got the Anole VX and am fascinated. Prefer them over the LCD-i4, not because they sound better (they don't), but they're pretty close in terms of performance and the bass is to die for, something the LCD-i4 lacks (I mean quantity/impact here). Love this body for my Metal and DubStep sessions, in terms of fit, it's the best fit and isolation I have ever had from a IEM. Another point where the LCD-i4 lacks due to semi-open nature.

I have a question: any cable that you would recommend that would really make the difference for the (great) stock cable? My source is a FiiO M15.

The Effect Audio Leonidas sounds terrible here, is it due to inverted polarity? I've tried some connectors the seller has sent me, but the Leonidas doesn't fit there :S
Try flipping the connectors as I believe the VX inverts the polarity. Tks.

Got some spjnfits dual flange (CP240-L) for the Anoles and there's another substancial improvement in sound quality compared to several other silicone tips, even in the bass (tighter). Not for everyone's ears though. Can cause some itch and discomfort.
