I'm sure that you guys will have seen this but just in case....

Sennheiser have released a limited edition of the PX100 fitted with retro looking yellow pads that imitate the old HD414 from the 1970s.

Unbeatable.co.uk have these for £19.99 at the moment. http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/CatalogueItem_16811.html

EDIT: I also just found out that there is a limited edition PX200 in chrome. The PX200 has chrome highlights on the headband instead of the dull finish and there is a chrome ring on the outside of the body.

Do they need some burn in?
Please let us know how you like them in the end!

i reccomend atleast 50hours, but 100hours would even be better. the bass take time to come out and music to get smooth.

you cant be impress with the px200 sound, but for being portable, closed and durable, its a great headphone.

To add to that, there is a very fine eq tweak if you have the Rio Karma.
"+9dB @ 15kHz, 0.6 octaves
+12dB @ 6kHz, 0.8 octaves
+2dB @ 3kHz, 2.4 octaves
-2dB @ 300Hz, 4.0 octaves
+8dB @ 60Hz, 2.4 octaves"

It sounds absolutely amazing, at least compared to the stock sound.
Slightly dark but very rich and no distortion.
I don't like it at all flat, and I was going to sell them until I tried this.

agreed. but the merits of portability and closed don't offset the poor quality of sound for me
