Beautiful work.

I'll trade you a Grado SR60i for one of them.

What I would do is exchange one of them for lets say one month...... for a month of testing the Martin Logan Mikros 90.

Nobody tests the Mikros 90's for a month. They simply become a permanent part of the collection!

I just bought another PX100, I think I’ll make a walnut closed cup for this one. In the North American Tone-wood review Walnut got the highest praise, seems to have a deeper base than the other Tone-woods reviewed. You lose some bass and gain some treble when you put these drivers in a closed cup so a walnut cup might help with that….we’ll see.

Just chiming in with my thoughts. I enjoy my music but don't have the disposable income to be truly audiophile. I have the px100-iis and have used them as my travel (when there's no one close by) set and baby pushing set. Like some I find the bass a little overbearing but after a bit of experimenting I found a nice compromise. As suggested in a previous thread I use bass reduction on my ipod but then use the bass boost on my fiio e12. Bass returns but to my ears is much tighter and bleeds less into the mids.

  Noooooooooo.

So that's why they are on sale here in Canada for $39. I better grab a few.

Opposite is happening here. Price has gone up to $70US!

If you can get them for $40CA, jump on that.

I must have missed the sale, that link has them at $99. If any sees any smoking deals on 'em again, someone pm me!

I love mine and would like to buy some as presents for others but $100 is a bit steep for gifts.

Nevermind, I found the deal! I have two pairs on the way to me. They are white and I prefer the black, but for $38 I don't care that much. I figure I'll gift one and keep the other. Thanks for the heads up.

That's because the clamping is so hard you cannot remove them from your head! :)

According to Crutchfield, Senn has discontinued the px-100ii

:frowning2:

Good news. I called Senn and they told me the PX 100ii are not discontinued, jut back ordered.

That said, they may not have officially announced discontinued, so we will have to see if new stock comes in. I managed to get a pair from BetBuy for $54, which is bad, but way above the amazon rate of commonly $39. Hopefully they will come back for $39.
