If you are from the uk and have good feedback let me know.
I can pay via paypal immediately and prior to receiving the phones.

Long time no reply on this very interesting thread. This is my first post, and in the moment Im modding my Sennheiser PX100ii. Its really a revelation. I removed the back foam and still now more impressed as before. The pads were the original, and they will bevreplaced with modded ones soon. By the way, how can I post pictures here?

I think there might be some Forum rules regarding a minimum number of posts
necessary before one can post pictures...
But just do a search about posting them (or anything else for that matter)

Funny that this thread was just bumped.

I just put replacement generic amazon foam earpads on my PX-100ii this morning after amazon came knocking. The original foams had rotted away to render them unusable 2-3 years ago. They were put away as is in their bag at that time and have sat on the shelf ever since.

The new foams ($12 for 6 foams) went on nicely/easily and seem to be as good as the original stock pads. I was surprised how gungy the headphones had become while sitting on the shelf (in the bag) for that length of time; head pads had crud on them, the wire seemed sticky for its entire length, the 3.5mm end didn't have corrosion per se, but the connection was crunchy and cutting out in an ipod.

I gave them (and the bag) a good cleaning with a few drops of dishsoap on a wetted clean rag and they seem like new again. Looking forward to enjoying them again, always was impressed with the sound from these little gems.

Donair, I had my bag in a plastic bag, so its still shiny. The cable is allright too. My original foampads fell apart from itself without using. Strangely the backfoam was still elastic. However, now they are well again. Just too bad that nobody offers white pads. Even yellow or orange are out of stock it seems.

Gut aussehen!
I actually like the look of the black on the white. Mine are black on black. Mine cleaned up surprisingly well, but good call on on bag in bag, I'll try to remember that on any future shelf stints. I never checked (or noticed) and foam on the back.

I also have another pair of brand-new-in-sealed-box white PX-100ii that I got on sale years ago. They are in storage somewhere and I had completely forgot about them until right now. I think I found out about the sale in this thread years ago and I bought a few pairs and gave some as gifts. I wonder if the still-in-the-box pair I have had rotted foams. Might have to dig them out ...

Yep.

Maybe they will stay a treasure in a time capsule if I can't find them. Ha.
Looks like I paid $37 CDN (on clearance) for the white which is ~24 euro. I think my black were closer to $100 CDN.
Been listening to them all afternoon, so good!

There are a pair of the original PX100 (two wire style) on local classifieds right now for $20 CDN ... trying to resist buying more headphones ... I do recall people saying they sounded better than the PX100-ii ... must resist ...

I rember the two models were sold around 50 Euros, and I got both models for around 30 Euros on some special offer. All in all a good buy.

Working all night on good equalizer settings for my px100ii. I use the HS player app on my iphone SE2016. Songs I listened to: Maps (Maroon 5), Manchild (Nehneh Cherry) and full Album „Tubular Bells“ (boxed version) from Mike Oldfield. My Target was to get close to the sound Signature of my Sony 7506. Brighter, less boomy but still a little bit warmer with good and warm bass body in lowest range. Here is my tesult:
