"Push to Hear" ?

Hi,

I just got some Atrio M5´s which I am very happy with

, but have seen on the Shure E500´s a "push to talk " Module, Is this or something similar available for my Atrios?

That is the same module that comes with the shure e5x0 series headphones, it is also sold as a stand alone unit... it is exactly the same as the one that comes in the box if you order the e5x0pth... it is sold for those who want it with lower price headphones or if you ordered e5x0 without it or yours broke...

Find a review on the e500pth or e530pth and look for the push to hear section

There's no reason why it shouldn't. It's a standalone thing that just happens to be included with the E5x0 series. The simplistic little diagram on that page confirms that.

Yes i have experience using it in several instances including a noisy car at freeway speeds. It works extremely well. When the microphone is turned on you basically hear a low-fi version of all the sounds around you, but its more than clear enough to understand people talking.

Yes. But it is a cumbersome mess. So much so, that I don't use it.
