Well, I just got the DLIII on Friday, and, of course, I already have upgrade-itis.
Does anyone think the Schiit would be a noticeable improvment?
One thing I like is that if you get the USB card, I will have full 192kHz/24bit capability on my iMac, whereas with the optical on the PS Audio, I only get 96kHz, as the iMac has a software limitation.
I am curious as to, besides this, whether the Schiit would be much better for about double the price I paid for the PS Audio!
I'm not expecting it to be 2x+ better, but noticeably better.
I am using a Bottlehead Crack, no Speedball and a pair of Sennheiser HD650's!
P.S. I actually have heard the Gungnir, but not on my own setup!
