Agreed. The K 1000 is truly a special headphone - I think I've said it before, but all serious head-fier's owe it to themselves (and most do) to live with the K 1000 for an extended period of time. They might not be the final end-all-be-all headphone for you, but I doubt you'll regret the experience one bit.

Thanks for input all, still undecided about what can I will purchase but I may wait on the k701s before I make my final decision.
