Very nice - any release date? Too bad the E7 is not in the same brushed aluminium style case

Does the E9 not work with putting an iPod in the top any more?

Also I think I would prefer a slightly smaller volume knob

It is nice to see the progress being made...

Can this be powered via USB, It would be great if you have the option connect thru a normal iphone connector ( i don't know that you call it) and still get power from USB and connect to itunes on your PC.

Not, it can not powered Via USB, cause the USB port can only provide 5V/500mA power, it is not enough to dirve some headphone like HD600, HD650, The output of E9 is over 1W per channel!

The output of the power adaptor will be around 15V / 0.5A!

What is bitrate when E9+E7 work together? 192K/24bits or not?
I've found that E7 use Wolfson WM8740 chip support 192K/24 bit, but when E7 operated alone ,its bitrate less.
