First Riverside show with the new lineup

From my understanding Riverside is going to continue as a three piece band with a traveling/touring guitarist. Piotr to me was the heart of the band's sound, a counter point to Mariusz' bass and vocals. It breaks my heart to say I think Riverside as we know them is done.

What the future holds who knows but Piotr's loss may be like the loss of Keith Moon. Sure The Who continued but they were never the same. Only time and a new album will tell. I am listening to 'Rapid Eye Movement' and enjoying the greatness of Riverside.

Law Offices...: one of my FAVORITE albums from the past year or so. Amazing, fun, and mind-blowingly good!

Hey guys,

I'm reaching back to 1971 for this one. Uriah Heap's "Salisbury." If you're not familiar with this band or this album, or if you don't love it dearly, this might not matter to you very much. But I'm here to tell you that this 2016 re-master of this disc is unbelievable! I was brought to tears at least five times while listening to it, and got so choked up during the title track that I had to stop for a few seconds. On my Sennheiser HD-800S's, this remaster is absolutely astounding. I'm going to come out and say it: this may be the single best remaster I have ever heard in my life. I'm probably going to write a full review, and start its own thread.

One word of warning: this is vintage 1970 stereo engineering. The vocals on many songs are either hard right, or hard left. Anyway, it took me about 15 minutes to collect myself so I could write this. I don't believe I have ever heard a rerelease leave me so flipping stunned, speechless, and in awe of what I just heard. It is an astonishing accomplishment, with the sound quality I would expect from a 24/96 rendition.

Can I buy it digitally?

I don't think it's available as a download, at least not yet. I'm with you – I generally prefer to download. But this is Uriah Heep, so like King Crimson and Yes, i'm willing to give up a little shelf space.

I love Dream Theater, but sometimes I prefer my prog to be weirder than it is virtuosic. Here's an example:

That's awesome! I'll be getting the first album remaster this coming week, and I have pre-ordered of a "magicians birthday" and "look at yourself". I am definitely shelling out the money for these. I can't believe I didn't even know about these remasters until last week…

Great album, I had it on vinyl. Didn't listen to it in a long while, thanks for bring it it back to my attention :)
I remember the vocals were very involving and forward on the original vinyl, and it sounds very good on the remaster also.
