Haha, you've got some listening to do because all their albums are solid!
Spending this Friday evening listening to Sorceress, my favourite Opeth album and enjoying a dram of Nikka Yoichi.
Spent a few hours listening to everything available and am very impressed - added everything to my roon libraryHaha, you've got some listening to do because all their albums are solid!
Currently listening to +4626 - Comfortzone (2015) by Swedish proggers Beardfish. They split up in 2016 but apparently are back together and working in the studio, so hopefully a new album is in the works.

Wow! Is it just me or does it seem like the new release machine has slowed down a little in the Prog building? I’ve been off a few days but I thought I’d start with this-

It does seem a bit sporadic at the moment but then I'm not constantly searching out new music, I like to savour what I've already collected too, it's kind of a must when you listen to over two hundred hours of music a month (according to roon)Wow! Been roon surfing again and found this: Last Watch of the Nightingale by Odd Logic. It's prog rock/metal with just a hint of harsh vocals that are just used for effect. Normally any hint of harsh vocals and I'm out but it really doesn't bother me here and the clean vocals are excellent. I've added eight of their albums to my library, so I guess I must like them.
Finally got around to giving this a good listen. I got about 30 seconds into the first track and changed my HD800S for my Denon D7200, the bass on this album is really powerful and drives everything hard and the D7200's make the most of it.Wow!
