I must listen to this album at least once a week. Does anyone else here feel that it's a ridiculously good sounding progressive rock album?

Millennium are sick and 44 Minutes is definitely one of my favorites from them so I definitely count as someone who thinks it's ridiculously good. 🤘😎

I’m listening to this now and I’m liking what I hear! I obviously have missed a lot as their body of work is substantial- can anyone comment on their other recordings- which particularly stand out?

Listening to A Cell To Call Home (2023) by Advent Horizon, one of my favourite albums of last year. In their own words they are a "hybrid of 70's prog and 90's rock with a blues twist".
And yes, I bought it on Bandcamp when it was released :sunglasses:

You actually recommended this album on the FTOUWMH thread. It's probably one of my top favorite albums ever. The sax and guitar are delightful to listen too. Thanks for the tip!

Wow, look at me being all useful and stuff! 😜

I'm glad you dig 'em. Definitely a band I don't see mentioned nearly enough for how good they are. 🤘

The guitar player is just simply amazing. He plays with such feelings. His style reminds me of David Gilmour from Pink Floyd. 🤗 but on steroids.

A very apt comparison. I'd bet there's some influence there. 👍

I've got this album on repeat today.

The definitive prog-rock supergroup, very good album, just a shame it's the only one they've made to date.

Literally one of my favorite prog albums ever. Helluva lineup. And I agree with @rids57 that it's a shame they haven't dropped more albums. I'll keep my fingers crossed though. 🤞

Currently playing Miles From Nowhere (2022) by Jonas Lindberg & The Other Side, available to buy on Qobuz but not Bandcamp (though their earlier album is). Also available on Amazon Music so I presume it's on the other streamers too. Basically, if you like The Flower Kings you'll like this - it even has Roine Stolt as a guest guitarist on the title track.

Listening to this and the Millennium 44 Minutes posted on the last page. Great stuff! Regarding The Sea Within, that drummer (Marco Minnemann) is an absolute monster of a player.
