Im not sure who the bass player is, but , he gets around.
YES just used him to make their recent "Live At The Apollo", Blu-ray

I own this ELO 2014 BBC show from Hyde Park, and the sound is pristine and wonderful.
This video, (not mine)... tho well done by the Youtuber, is a bit crunchy on the bottom end.
(Blame Youtube).
The Blu-Ray - DVD is not like this at all, its perfect Hi End fidelity,.... = just in case you dont own this......and you should......its really a great concert experience.
Its one of the best Live concerts ever recorded to discs.
Whoever directed the cameras during the show, knows what he's doing, as unlike most concerts where the cameras are set on a 5-second switcher that automatically keeps cutting from one camera to the other, and always too fast, .....this director didnt do this. He obviously knows the songs, and timed the cameras to be in the best positions when he cut to the next, then the next.
The long shots are beautiful from the very back of the audience.
The audience shots are clever and perfect.
Its a beautiful concert to watch on a big screen.

The entire taping of the concert, the songs that Jeff chose, the performances, the live sound quality.......its all just so great, and this concert-band that Jeff uses just makes ELO's songs come alive.
Its remarkable.
Get it.

Ok.
Lets say that Dream Theater has a female lead singer who has red hair.
And yes, the Electric Guitar solo is right out of the john patitucci home page.
And, so.... if Dream Theater is "prog", then so is this.......:)
Here you go.

( I see you Koover).
