I have a friend that has one of these, in a 512mb version. Anyways, she's currently experiencing wierd problems.
problems being that whenever she tries to play the music, instead of getting actual music, its random noise, distortion, and the like, from what she summed up in a msg to me, a bunch of bleeps and bloops...(hehe)
anyways, off the top of my head, im not sure what it is, and havent had a chance to speak to her yet (she left voice mail), but was wondering if there is any way to reset the unit, or if installing the latest firmware would do the trick.
any suggestions?

firmware update should do the trick. My friend has a Muvo TX fm and had the exact same problem. firmware update fixed it.

Does she download her music illegaly? Alot of p2p programs have corrupted music,that doesnt really play just gives you random crud.

I actually hadnt even considered that, but I know what you mean. I'll talk to her when I get a chance to, and have her do a firmware update most likely. Thanks for the recommendations. Cheers.
