Can anyone tell me the place with a low price on the Rega EAR. The lowest I have seen so far is $195

What exactly is your location? Continent, country, city? That helps, unless you intend to internet order the Rega Ear and your country has no customs restrictions placed on internet orders.

Oh well, everything is easier in America. Sorry but I don't know where to get Rega Ears in Albany, but there surely must be a place. As for the best price being on the internet I guess that might depend on shipping rates. Good luck in your search for a dealer. I'm enjoying my Rega Ear tremendously, it's a great little amp!

Depending on your timeline for purchasing,and whether or not you mind buying used, I would check Audiogon. I think the price through the online merchants stays at about $200. I bought my Ear for $150.00, in perfect condition. I second the positive view about this amp- it sounds very nice, though with Grados you will only have the slightest play with the volume control before reaching deafening levels.
