What are the differences if the headphone amp will not be used, balanced output needed, and cost not an issue?

This is a great review on a bargain headphone amp.

I could never figure out why the Presonus Central Station is not more popular around here. The Pro Audio people seem to love it.

Do you think it is because of the TRS balanced inputs?

Maybe... It is a annoying to get the right cables,especially since you are probably buying them exclusively for it but i got some decent ones off ebay and it works great.
I even sold my DAC since i couldn t detect that much difference and it makes the system a lot more bloated.
